Organized by diverse members - who came from different chapters of the Beta Sigma Fraternity in the Philippines, that are now based in New York.
The Beta Sigma Fraternity in the Philippines was officially formed when the first set of officers were inducted together with the original founders, 34 scholars in all, in the University of the Philippines on July 14, 1946. It has since established chapters in different universities and colleges throughout the Archipelago.
Alumni associations on the other hand continue to grow, proof of the evolving nature of the Beta Sigma Fraternity.
New York Beta Sigma is part of this evolution.
Operation Big Brother, the traditional grassroots socio-civic program of the fraternity with its different projects, continue as an important endeavor to help each other and to give back to the community that we are in now as well as in marginalized communities back in the Philippines.
Malmon in the Big Apple recognizes the role of this medium to reach out to and network with brothers in the fraternity, sisters in the Sigma Beta Sorority and everyone else who care to be part of our lives.
The journey continues.
